Now I will show you how to create HDR image. This tutorial consists of 3 parts:

First and second parts will show you how to create HDR images using PhotomatixPro. Third part of this tutorial is very short. Part of this tutorial will show you how to retouch HDR images created with PhotomatixPro in Photoshop.

Few words about PhotomatixPro. This is a GREAT software that will allow you create HDR software only in a few steps. This software is VERY affordable for everyone and you can even download a free trial version. The trial version has no expiration date; however your finished image will have a PhotomatixPro watermark.

Evening

1: Open the image you want to work with – Double Click on the Background Layer and rename it to Layer 0
2: Change image background ( from day sky to evening sky)
You can use Lasso Tool, or just Background Eraser Tool
3 Now we should insert our evening sky ( I had to rename the evening sky Layer name to the “Sky”)
4: Now is the time to make the building tone closer to evening tone
Image – Adjustments – Brightness / Contrast (Remember that each image has his own numbers of Brightness / Contract )
5: Image – Adjustments – Exposure ( copy my setting or use your own)
6:” Image – Adjustments – Vibrance
7: Now is the time to light the light inside the houses
Draw the small yellow rectangle ( with the rectangle tool) – select – copy – Deselect this Layer and make it invisible
8: Select each window with Lasso Tool – Edit – Paste Special – Paste Into – Set the blending mode for this layer that will work the best with your evening sky , after that you can use Inner Glow for the light into windows
9:After you will light all windows, you should merge all layers together

Sharpen

My personal opinion is that Photoshop CS5 has every necessary tool to work with to improve your photograph.

Filter Sharpen is a very helpful and life saving tool. You can improve sharpness of your photograph without using any third party tools that will lower the project cost and optimize quality.

Halloween Hat Creation

Halloween time is closing in upon us and I received many questions regarding how create Halloween images. This tutorial will cover how to create Halloween Hat. This tutorial is from my series of “ Easy Like 1..2..3”

1: Open the image you want to work with
2: Rectangle Tool with Black Color
3: Edit – Transform Path – Distort – Risterize Layer
4: Ellipse Tool with Black Color - Rasterize Layer

Now the time to close up your image

5: Ellipse Tool with Black Color (This help to make top of the hat more rounded ) – Rasterize layer
6: Merge Shape3, Shape2, and Shape1 layers together
7: Edit – Transform Path – Warp
8: Brush Tool with White Color( Flowing Stars) – Copy my setting
9: Brush Tool with Black Color - See my setting

Special Text Creation

I was asked to create special text for the Traveling agency advertisement. This is my tutorial regarding how to accomplish that.
This is a tutorial from my series tutorials” this is easy like 1…2…3”

1:Create new document
2:Filll this document with the black color
3:Write down the text you need
4: Open any image you like ( I have choose here my photograph that I took last year)
5:Select > All ( you need to select your opened photograph) Edit> Copy
6: Highlight your document with text on it Ctrl + Click on your text layer ( icon “T”) Edit- Paste Special > Paste Into > Resize this layer as you like
7: Now make your Fill % = 0% for your Text layer
8: Highlight layer 1 > Layer Style > Bevel and Emboss
9: Duplicate layer 1 to Layer 1 copy and merge layer 1 and layer 1 copy
10: Copy layer 1 to layer 1 copy Edit > free Transform
11: Make Opacity % to this layer = 25% > Add vector mask > Gradient Tool (Radial Gradient = Opacity 34%)
